fees

My fee for a psychotherapy session (45 minutes) is $205.  The fee for the initial session (60 minutes) is $300.

I accept cash or check at the time of each session.  I offer a sliding scale in certain circumstances.  I accept credit card payments via the doxy.me platform only.

Longer appointments can be arranged upon request.  (The fee for a 60-minute appointment is $285.) 

At this time, I am a preferred provider for a limited number of networks.  These are Cottage Hospital, Medicare, Aetna, and MHN .  I will bill these networks directly for you.  I will make reasonable efforts to resolve billing problems with insurance companies, but you are responsible for my fee being paid.

If you have health insurance with networks for which I am not a preferred provider, I will provide a monthly statement that can be submitted to your insurance company.  You are responsible for paying for your sessions at the time of service and for requesting insurance reimbursement.  Some health insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits.  I encourage you to contact your insurance company in advance and ask about the following, to determine your benefits for psychotherapy:

• your coverage for individual psychotherapy

• your out-of-network benefits for individual psychotherapy with a licensed psychologist

• any limitation on number of sessions in a calendar year

• the amount of your deductible, if any
